Root overclocking with senserom?

Hello all,

I recently rooted my optimus M to SenseROM and now would like to explore overclocking. I have downloaded setCPU but it woun't go past 600mhz. Can anyone guide me in the direction of a tutorial or tell me what file I will need to download to overclock? Will I need to reinstall a ROM or can it be done without reinstalling?

Well If you downloaded the latest senserom you would have the over-clocking kernel already there so on setcpu it would go passed 600mhz. If you didn't get the latest senserom then go here and download the kernel and flash it in boot recovery. http://androidforums.com/optimus-m-all-things-root/347684-kernel-optimusm-oc-stock-2-2-1-a.html

or go back to the sense rom thread and download the latest version. besides, the latest version has working bluetooth!
