overheating

Updated with Kies to T-mob 4.04 the other night ,quite pleased with it on the whole ,but!,charged it up same night ,went to work next day checked phone at 10am fine ,at dinner reached into coat pocket and phone was so hot ,i mean really hot ,took out battery and allowed to cool re-inserted and switched on ,9%of battery left,been fine since but am still nervous.
After the update i did a factory reset and reinstalled my apps.
Any ideas?

My first thought would be either a rogue, or incompatible, app or setting. Hopefully, a Factory Reset may solve your problem, however, if it does not... then see, here.
