Root Oxygen 2.1 w/ v2.3.4

What did you think so far? i tried the DevNull 1.0 with 2.3.4 and i wasnt that impressed but oxygen would be better i would have thought?

EDIT: Testing now, seems awesome... i have installed all my apps and everything is super fast, big contender for ReDux. very impressed so far its certainly faster than 2.0.3

Also quick note: Adam was saying that it doesn't currently fit into Oxygen Hboot so if you have issues just delete a few apps, you need to free up about 5mb to be safe, otherwise a smaller release will be out soon ;)
 
Very interesting.
This is a quick update by the dev and the ROM is also quite small (zip file just 59MB).
I don't have time to try it this weekend but maybe next week I'll give it a go.
 
You can use the menu wake script, better anyway i reckon. I have noticed some WIFI to 3G data switching issues, like it wont switch untill the phone is unlocked again.
 
That was my setup also... dont know what it is. So if you connect to your WIFI at home and then go down the road, then wake the device (not unlock) does it still show the WIFI icon or the mobile data icon?
 
I didnt go out today. but generally I change profiles when I go out :D
what I tested is I did switch off wifi and switched on 3g..seems to work and viceversa
 
That's the problem it switches manually fine I think you'd find if you just left it. It wont change
 
I'm fairly new here and to all of this rooting business (having just successfully rooted my desire today) so I don't know if this is a problem with over versions but this oxygen doesn't allow me to set a static wallpaper. Live wallpapers are fine, but the original oxygen wallpaper just sticks around even when I try and set a new one, or even use flikie's wallpaper option.

Anyone else having this issue? :confused:
