Does HDMI out not work with this? Loving everything about it so far... Added the lines to build.prop and got mms working. But when trying to go HDMI out, screen switches to landscape as if it knows its plugged in to a TV, but nothing comes up on the TV and nothing in the notification bar about HDMI out. Any fix?

The ONLY "Workaround" is a totally different method, where your TV needs to have internet support and use DLNA to share media
MHL/HDMI will not work, as ramjet stated...and I can't even promise that DLNA will work, as I don't have one of those fancy TV's with internet built into it...because I don't need it xD

Existing Anthrax kernels will not work properly with any 4.2.x ROM. There have been workarounds to get them installed but things are always broken afterwards.

Okay, thanks for the info ramjet! I will stay with the built in kernel. This rom is fantastic and suits me very well. I think I won't be flashing another rom anytime soon.
Thanks i never knew that. Kind of new to the whole aos(k)p thing for this phone. Seems like it should be listed as a bug on the OP, even if it's acceptable as being broken. BTW is there an op somewhere? Couldn't find it here and xda just had what looked like an old beta thread. Thanks.

My TV doesn't have it either but i still can use that method through the ps3 which does support DLNA. However this doesn't help me stream Walking Dead through the phone's web browser, up on the TV. As far as i know DLNA is only good for files already on the sd card.
Also wondering if there's a way to make my homescreen rows stretch from top to bottom. As it is there's a gap on either side. I know i could always switch launchers but I'd like to use the integrated one if possible. Couldn't find anything in the settings about it either...

To answer my own question, check the box under Settings> Launcher> Homescreens> Stretch screens.

Did you install both pieces (build2802 and build2805)?this rom sounds awesome now thanks to this
The installation process has become quite complicated and not only involves flashing two files, but also requires running a script through a terminal emulator and rebooting to fully activate it.

Yes, I flashed 2802, rebooted. Then got back into recovery and flashed 2805 on top of it. Rebooted, and phone's sound is noticiably louder and clearer.
I didn't have to do any of the script stuff through terminal.
I don't get any permission errors. I can open the acidmod app and the awesomebeats app that were installed from it just fine. I guess I don't need to do the script stuff because if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

If you didn't run the script through terminal you may be missing some of the build.prop entries since that's what running it does.
It's listed as "Method 1" and "Method 2" in the OP of the AOSP download thread.

Yes, it would conflict.
V10 of selkie's AC!D mod is essentially V7 plus some other stuff like the walkman and noozy players. The V7 version from the AC!D team already includes awesome beats.

Changed the walkman option to install the same walkman apps that are in flashalots rom
changed the xperia home apk to the one raptoro linked to, thanks its actually much better than the other one
added a bunch of widgets for it from the link raptoro posted

No, I was working with him on the aroma script over the weekend and he's definitely using AC!D V7 now in V10 of his version.
He's having some problems mixing the noozxoide equalizer with the base AC!D V7 which includes awesome beats and I'm not sure how he is going to resolve that. Last I heard he was leaning towards keeping the V7 base and just having walkman and noozy as addons, but AFAIK he's still testing.

That is the backbone of the effects. noozxoide works great after some changes to that file.

I tried method 1, it says it can't write to build.prop. File system read only.

I only tried method 2 since method 1 looked a little iffy to me. I don't know why they just don't add the build.prop entries with a script in the flashable zip like it did before.

Ramjet, have you tried the mod linked by Austrie? Is it louder than V7? or just about the same. I notice it's a huge file compare to the v7 download. 50MB+ to about 2MB+. What's in it?

That's mostly the walkman stuff.
I used the 5A version on 4.1.x ROM's but haven't tried it on 4.2.x ROM's because I've been waiting for a stable configuration.
