Root Package file is invalid? Tried Everything. HELP!

I cant download any app from the play store. whether on wifi or 3g, no luck.
I searched a lot and tried uninstalling updates, clearing caches, re-adding the google account, and nothing has worked. Even changed the privacy setting "automatic restore" to off...
Please help me out here. Am I missing something?

Maybe reflash the ROM with complete wipes?

im on midnight rom and it comes with an updater that lets you download the newest rom. you think that would work?

Updated and installed the updated ROM and it worked. Thanks

Clear data for Google services framework. Wipe cache and dalvik. You should be good after that. GO PATS
