paltform.xml problem caused trouble

Hi All,
My name is gaurav and i have swipe velocity tablet. I have purchased it recently. Everything was working fine but i realized that i am not able to create any file or folder on external sd card of 32 GB. When i format card and reinsert it, i can create files/folder for sometime but after few minutes i cant write anything on card. So i searched forums and internet and found solutions like some file managers "ES File Manager" but nothing worked. Then i found one post that i should modify "system\etc\permission\platform.xml" to add permission for "WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE". I did so and after that everything in my tablet has started to crash. I click browser and type anything and it crashes with message " unfortunately browser has stopped" and again and again "unfortunately com.google.process.gapps has stopped", "unfortunately system.ui has stopped" and many such messages keep popping. Now i am not able to connect on net neither i can revert changes in platform.xml. I feel that earlier i was having root access, i feel so but now suddenly i am not having root access. I checked using root checker.

Now i need your help to solve this problem. It is causing me many troubles.
Please help me. Suggest me.

I modified permissions in system\etc\permission\platform.xml to write on my external sd card. It didnt solve my problem but in fact now i am in lot of trouble. My system is giving all kind of problems like "Unfortunately browser has stopped", "Unfortunately com.google.process.gapps has stopped" and similar messages for system.ui etc. I am not able to use internet.

Most annoying is that i cant revert back the changes in platform.xml that i did. When i do say it says i dont have permission to do so. "Root checker" utility says that my tablet is not "rooted". I am not sure how i was able to modify this file earlier.

Can anyone suggest how at least i can revert back the changes i did in platform.xml
