Pandor/Slacker issue

I tried doing a search but didnt see anything. I was using both Slacker and Pandora in the car the past couple of mornings, but ran into the same issue with both. After a certain period of time, I want to say 30 minutes, but I may be wrong, my music stopped playing, basically because my data connection turned off. Is there any way I can change that for when I am listening to music via the web?

Why did your data connection turn off? If it is a setting you have you could use Tasker to keep your data connection on.

Another option is to pay for Slacker Plus. I do, and one of the features is station cache. With or without data I can listen to Slacker without buffering, plus the other benefits like unlimited skips and 0 ads plus others.

Well, I dont have any setting I can find about the data connections, however I know when I look at my phone I have service bars, but there is not 3G next to it or anything. Once I unlock on my phone the 3G comes back and everything starts working again. Is there a way to stop that from happening?

It may depend on your phone. What phone do you have?

Droid X running Android 2.2.1

I had the Droid X prior to Verizon pissing me off so I upgraded to the nexus s, I never had any issues with data on that phone and really did like it (once I rooted and got rid of moto blur). Really not sure what the issue would be, but I recommend slacker plus to everyone anyways cause I love it so much!
