Help Pandora and 2.2 over Wifi

Obviously the audio quality is an issue, but for me on froyo and over wifi pandora sounds just fine. Over 3G it's awful.

So those of you with 4G is the audio quality acceptable or not? Just curious as I'm moving to a 4G market and will be without wifi for a while as I unpack and setup the new house, so I want to stream pandora an such.

Pandora's issue in 2.2 is related to a missing audio codec. Pandora is not willing to make changes to the way they stream audio and Google has not released an official release that I am aware of.

Root users are able to fix it....but official OTA 2.2 users have to wait

Im in Ny and at work i get 4G(queens) and it sounds good. it is definitely acceptable quality.

Same - the Pandora sound quality issue on Froyo doesn't exist over wifi. Extremely annoying as I always use it in the car (no wifi).
