Help Pandora constantly "LOADING..."

Anyone else having issues with pandora getting stuck "Loading..."? Sometimes and sometimes not I will get see the album art, but either way I still get stuck at Loading and the music never plays. I am on EB13 and have had no other issues with EB13.

Anyone have any tips?

Yes, it seems it does work on WiFi but not 3G

That should fix your streaming issues if Sprint has now put the proxy the Epic.

1) Dial ##3282#
2) Choose Multimedia
3) Enter MSL
4) Change HTTP PD Proxy Port to: 0
5) Change HTTP PD Proxy Address to: 0.0.0.0

My pandora does this occaisionally on my evo too. I just go into manage apps and clear data and it works for afew weeks until it does it again...

If clear data doesn't do it, uninstall it and reinstall it from the market and it should start back up.

It's such a great program. It's really a shame they can't get it working better.

I followed the directions from "TheEngineer" and Pandora seems to be working now (at least normal for Pandora).

If anyone gets a chance, can they explain what the setting "HTTP PD Proxy" does?

The proxy setting redirects streaming media through a proxy server Sprint set up (all the carriers are implementing proxy servers to control traffic for different reasons be it bandwidth conservation, authentication, etc). The problem may be that the proxy is either overloaded or misconfigured. But more likely the issue is that the app is using its own local proxy on the device to buffer the stream. Problem with that is that you now have one proxy too many. Screws up the whole streaming process.

It's customary to hit the "thank you" button under someone's post when they help you. No one asks for it but I'm sure he'd like to see his counter go up too. It's like money.

I set all of my proxy's to zero's too just on the outside chance sprint is using it to track or watch. It's not that I use a lot of bandwidth or anything, I just like slapping big brother in the face.
