Help Pandora - Excess Heat

Has anyone noticed excessive heat when using Pandora? It was getting upwards of 120+ degrees. I also had it on a charger but I turned off Pandora to see which one was causing the problem and the phone eventually cooled off to about 80+.

I've seen heat and battery drain using Pandora. So, what I try to do is turn off all syncing to manual rather than auto, weather, Facebook etc. That seems to minimize the resource drain of Pandora.

That is pretty much the first thing I do on a new phone now. One thing I have noticed is that it isn't just Pandora. It's pretty much any media related app. Amazon MP3, TuneIn, Poweramp, etc.

My phone temp will go from approximately 80 degrees to roughly 120 degrees after probably 30+ minutes of music.
