Help Pandora Problems

When I play Pandora it works fine till the screen shuts off then after it finishes out the song it doesn't play the next one. But if the screen stays on it keeps going but I dont want to keep the screen on forever.

Can anyone else replicate this?
1. Start Pandora
2. Let it start the first song
3. Turn screen off
Does it start the next song?

I have tried:
With WiFi on, WiFi off (so, 3g where I live)
Keep WiFi on during sleep Always, Only when plugged in and Never
Pandora, Low Memory Settings Never and 5mins

None of these options have worked but I haven't really seen any other posts except for one I made a while ago but I decided to repost since it has been a while without response and I have attempted every fix I can think of.

PS. My gf's phone and the one at our local verizon do this also.
 
All I use is Pandora, I've never had it shut off :/

The only issue I've run into is the "widget" not working if I don't use it for a long time, I have to launch Pandora from app list, then the widget starts working again.
 
Welcome to the nexus! Mine does the same thing. I cant play pandora on my phone any more. Plus i cant get any connectivity for sbout 3-4 min any time i wake my screen up
 
Mine constantly restarts while playing Pandora. Has nothing to do with the screen. You can change the settings so the screen stays on. That might help your case. Mine just randomly restarts a couple times per hour. On charger, off charger, screen on, screen off, whenever.
 
I've experienced two reboots while playing Pandora in my car with the vehicle power plugged in. Seems like Pandora needs to release an ICS update?
 
Been doing some research on this issue and think it's a gnex problem. Specifically, when the phone goes to sleep, the Wifi is turning off even if you have it set to never turn off while asleep.

My phone does the same thing. I found by taking the case and battery cover off helps minimize the crashes the phone gets pretty hot with all that on when pandora is on.
 
I've had several reboots in the car using Pandora and Slacker through an auxilary input in my stereo. Now I'm just realizing that I've never had a reboot using either while in my office using wired headphones.

Does anybody know if the type of connection used could make a difference? I've listened to probably 100 hours in my office with no problems and maybe 10-20 hours in my car with several reboots (both charging and not charging).
 
hmm, I listen to Pandora all day and have never had any issues on my Verizon GNex. I also stream it to a BT speaker. Now most of the time I'm working from home on wifi, but even when in the office on 3G i never have issues. One difference maybe is that I have 4G LTE turned off due to the battery drain issues...
 
Could everyone with the problem please chime back in to let us know if you have Lightflow installed? I never used to notice my wireless shutting off before I installed it....
