Root Pandora Skipping

I dont really know if its root related or just the app itself but since ive rooted i have noticed that pandora will kinda skip at times. It only happens for about 10-15 seconds while sending a text or before reciving one. Anyone have a solution?
 
Are you running a custom ROM or is it just the stock with root privileges?

I don't use Pandora at all, but I understand that it can be sensitive to low CPU speed if you are underclocking when the screen is off or something.
 
Then I'd say get one of the overclocking apps - SetCPU, CPUBoost Lite - and try boosting your minimum clock speed higher than 245 MHz and see if that helps.
 
It worked for me too. The problem is when the phone underclocks when the screen is off. Bumping up the speed when screen is off should help.

You could also switch ROMS too. I made the leap from nosensikal 16.1 to froshedyo and man do I see an overall speed increase. froshedyo does not over or underclock and the speed is very snappy.
