Help pandora/slacker not working

Have you installed any apps since the factory reset? If not, I suggest removing it, then doing another factory rest, then installing it after the reset.

I have never had this trouble with Pandora an I am a ROM whore, in that I have tried well over 30 different ROMs on my phone.

Also, have you checked to see if you're not over the 5 GB 'limit' set by VZW on our unlimited accounts?

I really doubt the last, but you never know -I am jut shooting out ideas in the dark here cause, since it has never happened to me, I haven't had to try to fix it - so I don't know what the fix is....

First run of Pandora (v. 1.4.1) after all OTA 2.2 updates, worked fine outside on 3G for the hour that I was doing my usual hike. :)

Haven't installed anything. Though I didn't unistall much before I did the reset. I will wait for a ROM with the new droid udpate they pushed this week. Will unistall Pandora before like you suggested. I am able to use data with Last FM so I don't think I hit any cap. I just use my phone for music at work so I don't think it would go over that limit anyway.

Yeah, it shouldn't - I use my phone with Pandora at least 2 hours a day using HQ audio and I don't break 2 GB with that....

Came across this from Google....

Resetting your phone to get a single app to work is a bit extreme wouldn't you say? Makes me think of the Windows "Reinstall the OS it will fix everything...." mindset which imho is a joke.

Pandora obviously has issues working on 2.2 un-install/reinstall and wait for it to work again ... Pandora has been having difficulties with their servers ( assumption ) as it is not only my droid that has difficulties playing Pandora, they will come around to fixing it just be patient.
