this was discussed in another thread..
it turned out to be an app the user downloaded.. that turned of data when the screen is off. it was used to save battery. look through your installed apps to see what might have this function. then look in it's settings to turn off.. or UN-install it.

Also, Pandora will stop streaming on the free app after so long. I think the new policy is effective now.

Do you have battery saving apps like Juice Defender, GreenPower, Easy Battery Saver and the like? If so you have to uninstall them.
