Part of touch screen does not work

Well, like 10 procent of the left side of my screen, doesn't work, including the home button. Nothing happens when I press it, it just doesn't work. Now I must say, 4 weeks ago my phone fell into the water, but I gave it a 5 day long rice bath and he was fine again, everything worked untill now. Is there anything to fix outside going to the shop?
