Root Part17backup* file on SD card

I was looking through my sd card and noticed a couple of files on the root of my sd card named "part17backup-{10-digit #}.bin". From what I was able to find doing a search, I'm pretty sure these files were created when I rooted my phone. They're not big files, but with such long file names, they kinda jump out every time I open my file manager. I like to keep things tidy so I'm wondering if it's necessary to keep these files. Can I delete them without messing something up?

I had one too, I think it was left behind by the ace hack kit, it was there as soon as I rooted before I flashed a rom or did anything else. I deleted with no problems.
