Hi,
I'm running out of memory so got myself a Kingston 16GB SD card. Tried to partition it using Gparted. This is what I did:
1. First primary partition all of the space with the exception of 592MB. Formatted to FAT32
2. Second primary partition 528MB. Formatted to EXT4 (tried 2 and 3 also)
3. Third primary partition 64MB. Formatted to Linux Swap
The phone would not recognize the SD card. Tried deleting all the partitions and just formatting to FAT32 and it is not recognized. It is only showing up after formatting in WinXP as FAT32.
I'm running Virtuous Codename: Trentacinque Beta 2. Update: This ROM is very nice and stable even though it is a beta.
How can I partition my SD card? What's the best configuration for this ROM? Update: http://forums.virtuousrom.com/index.php?topic=58.0
Their recommendation: 128MB EXT, 256MB Swap
Use Clockworkmod 3.* and above to partition the SD card. It is working.
