Root Partition Issues

Running CTmod 3.68, booted into recovery and created 1gb sd partition. rebooted and internal storage isn't showing any increase in storage, but sd storage is showing the decrease of 1gb. any ideas?
 
Hi,

you can try to use APKInstaller-Prevail.zip ! Put the latest "Koumamod1.7.apk" into the zip and "Install ZIP from SD-Card" in CWM !!! Worked for me.
 
how did you create partition, cwm, or somewhere else? did you mount it? tell us some more on what you did. also did you go into settings and koumamod and select something?
 
Yeah I used cwm to make the partition. I mounted it, but every time I mount it, reboot, then reboot again into recovery to check it it doesn't show that it's mounted. Haven't made any adjustments to koumamod or anything

Try going into koumamod and see if you can make any adjustments there that might help it mount
 
ah yeah, just needed to set koumamod mounting mode to data. rebooted to recovery, mounted the partition and its working! thanks!
 
This is my first post ever so I hope that I do this right. I'm currently running Hroark's CM7 Port for prevail. I've read all of the threads concerning partitioning as well as every other thread in Prevail-all things root and I've managed to set up a partition but I'm having a hard time setting up swap. I would love a step by step tut for kumamod 1.7 and also sdparter. Thank you very much to all who have contributed to the vast wealth of knowledge that this site contains.

koumamod does not work for cyanogenmod. it works with half ass rom and ctmod;)

cm7 supports swap as is

how did you partition your card? (what partition(s) )
if you used cwm, then the first partition will be ext format and the second will be swap.

if you have the swap partition, download terminal emulator, open it and type
Code: 
swapon dev/block/mmcblk0p3
