Root Partition SD Card

Two questions:

1) Does partitioning your SD card wipe your SD card?
2) Is it true that once partitioned, you cannot delete the partition from Windows Disk Management?

Thanks!

it wiped my card, so i dont do it anymore, too much work for me, i mightve been doing it wrong tho, but i dont really need to use apps2sd i have tons of apps and tons of space anyways

Yes it's wipes your SD, but it's easy to restore. Just mount your Eris to your computer, copy your SD card into a separate folder on your computer, partition SD card, mount Eris to computer again, restore your backup to Eris.

Yes and yes. You should copy your cards files to your computer. After yup partition, you will re load all the files back to the sd card.

True, once the partition is created you cannot remove it in windows disk management. At least i couldn't. The partitions are still there even after another reformatting.
