Root Partitioning SD Card after Flashing a ROM?

I read in the sticky that you should partition your SD card prior to flashing a ROM, but for someone who didn't read ahead and missed that is it still possible to partition?

it is only recommended that you do it. you can still partition it. just follow the guide and reboot afterwards. what rom are you on?

I'm on Swagged Out Stock Swag=ON. Internal memory is getting a bit short as I can't move as much to the SD as I'd like.

ok so this rom has a2sd. so just partition and reboot. if your apps do not move then you will need terminal emulator and type su then a2sd reinstall
