Root Partitioning sd card??

Ok, I did do a search here and from my trusted pal Google before asking and didn't find anything. Are none of y'all partitioning your sd cards? An ext4 partition? I was just about to do it earlier then I started thinking, I didn't remember seeing any posts about that. What if you came from a phone where you had already partitioned? Did you leave it? Did you use the same card? I know over in Admireville they were partitioning their sd cards when I used to hang there, but I had not bought my new computer yet and was lucky to manage to just get it rooted. I would really like to clean this sd card up, it has a bunch of crappola on it and I thought while I was doing that I might just go ahead and partition it, that way I can transfer data along with my apps, widgets, you know what I'm saying :D

I didn't realize I could do it in CWM. I can set my values through there and how I want my extensions? Let's say this sd card is full of three phones worth of files and backups. I try to go in and delete what I know shouldn't be there, like stuff that says Samsung and 2.3.4. I took a ton of pics off, but I would really just like to make a copy of it and wipe the entire thing clean and start over. Is that possible? Then, I already move apps over but you know the data doesn't go with it and widgets don't go and if I just have and Ext4 I wouldn't be able to view them on my pc. So I had planned on using gparted and if I remember correctly, (that's a big IF with this plum size tumor in my brain, so please forgive me if I have this screwed up) I would make my partitions like this:
Fat32 first on the left then ext4 on the right both primary to where it read something like Xmb fat32/xmb 1st ext4/ 0mb 2nd/ 0 swap
please tell me I haven't forgot even simple partitioning....

You can set your partition values straight from CWM. It'll wipe the card when. You do...it ay least it wiped mine.

Edit: Ignore foot in mouth emoticon. Thumb over thumb error.

ok, then I willl have a fresh clean sd card I just re root and install cwm and I already have the zip to BrokenOut so I just have to put that on. Easy breezy. Thanks y'all so much. I didn't realize I could do this through cwm, much easier (not that it was hard) but still easier than through gparted. I'm really glad I asked. :D
