Help Password Protecting Settings/Apps??

I have the Galaxy S3 running Jelly Bean 4.3 and was wondering if there was any way I could password protect my settings as well as my apps... I have the settings shortcut on my home screen and I don't want my kid to accidentally hit that button and screw with my settings as well as that little Hollywood Squares looking icon used to go into all of my apps, I'd like that password protected too... don't want my kid accidentally going into my apps and messing with things her shouldn't.. ya know?

Anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks a lot!

I used to use the app Smart Applock to pin lock apps (including Settings) but i dont know of a way to lock the app drawer

Why don't you make it easy? Since JB you can set up different users with their own profiles (apps access, etc.). You can set another user account up in Settings > General > Users.

I never had cause to use it, but it seems pretty straight forward setting it up and I assume that it works on similar principle to Windows OS accounts, i.e. with the users own desktop and app access. There is no danger in loosing any data and you can always delete the account if you're not satisfied with the way it works.
