Help Pc Connectting problems :S

I just got my new phone yesterday, but i'm having trouble getting my phone to remain connected to the pc.

I downloaded Kies, but every time I try and transfer something over from my PC to the Phone, it disconnects, and reconnects again. I reinstalled the drivers to see if it was that, but the problem keeps occurring. I've managed to sneak a few music files onto my phone while its recognising that my phone connects, but sure enough, it disconnects again. It happens when I use kies, as well as when i just go through mass storage, as soon as i start copying something over it disconnects, and reconnects again.

please help!!!

Why the hell do you use STINKY KIES to transfer content?, just use it as USB mass storage and drag n drop files, to set as usb go to usb setting and check radio button stating mass storage.

I can't transfer content using either method. It won't connect long enough to use neither Kies OR so I can even open up the folder to transfer things via the usb mass storage.

well in that case check your supplied USB cable and see the Micro port condition if there is dust or other lint which is trapped inside then your connectivity will broke micro port have 5 pins.

Checked for dust. Checked the pins. It stays connected as long as i don't do anything, as soon as i start transferring it disconnects and reconnects again.

kimmeh22 - this is a simple driver issue with windows.
check for driver updates for samsung - once you have a later driver.. it actually flies..
perform the same steps by selecting wireless and network - usb.. and kicking off a usb mass storage session.
windows re-learns how to connect to the device.. and manages the session properly without disconnecting

Hey I'm experiencing the same problem as well!
In my case, I've tried reinstalling Kies and the drivers, tried using USB debugging but the problem is still there. Sometimes after reinstalling the drivers it's either that my phone disconnects when trying to transfer, or sometimes in worst case (after reinstalling drivers again) it disconnects and reconnects repeatedly...

I like to use "Import pictures and videos" by right-clicking my phone under "My Computer" (I'm using Win 7 64-bit), and to use Kies to backup because I don't know any other ways to backup... However now I can't do any of these...

So have you got your problem solved? If so could you share your solution? Thanks a lot in advance!
