PC not recognizing galaxy s3

I can charge phone on PC but the device is not being recognized. I tried various USB ports and another computer. How can this be resolved?

I would suggest visiting the Galaxy S3 forums. It sounds like maybe a driver issue. Lots of people in there to help.

Maybe a software or driver is missing from the computer and needs to be installed. Also, as was said in the above posts, your device section would be the better place to find some answers to why this is happenning.
