Help PCI input device : NO DRIVER FOUND

Mayhem247

Lurker
ok my friends, here's the deal...i am having probs getting this darn ICS firmware update and have been trying for 3 days now....

when i start KIES and connect my phone w/ usb KIES connects and shows my phone...but, after i start the update about 1 min later msg in top left of page that used to show my phone now reads connect device and msg in lower left of page reads lost connection to device...PCI input device,..no driver found is msg i get after the pop up box that pc has failed to recognise my phone....i have scanned through and read several dif threads here that sorta resemble my prob and have tried those remedies. unfortunately these "fixes" didn't fix my problem....phone is Samsung Galaxy S II ...VERSION 2.3.6..Baseband version T989UVLDE..Kernel version 2.6.35.11...Build number GINGERBREAD.UVLDE

please help although after reading some of your reviews of ICS it might be one of those be careful what you wish for situations.....besides the PCI input no driver found is also a "SAMSUNG Mobile USB CDC Composite Device : Failed" msg

mods plz delete this thread..prob solved...all issues were caused by my desktop...when i hooked up to my laptop update worked smooth as silk
