Pcs cdma->boost/yes/no/maybe?

Does anyone know the "current" information on whether or not it is still possible to unlock and use any CDMA sprint pcs phone w/ boost? I'm finding tons of conflicting information would like to know what anyone here knows. (Before i go buy a phone) ;\

A Sprint phone nowadays probably isn't Boost ready. Old ones were, but newer ones need to be unlocked and manually flashed...which basically means there's no benefit to getting a used Sprint phone versus a Verizon or US Cellular one.

You will probably have to look for information on a device-by-device basis, depending on what you want.

Well all new sprint phones are CDMA...I'm sure theres a way i just wanted to know if anyone had success. Thx for the info though. I wouldn't think at all that VZW would run on boost....then again they are CDMA as well....but the whole data network is totally different i believe...brainstorming out loud here...
