Root PdaNet or any form of tethering

Im running BAMF CUBE v1.09. I dont know if its this rom or all GB base in general...anyone having problem staying in tethering mode? Like I would start connecting to PdaNet and things would start normal. I surf the web on my laptop like normal. I would download or stream a few videos. Then all the sudden...the internet would stop. Now im still connected...nothing has changed. PdaNet still saying im still connected but yet not internet connection. My phone is connected and I can still go on the browser and go into facebook app on my phone so there is internet connection. SO what is it? I heard about the GB base room having some kind of tethering guard...could that be the culprit?

Why don't you try a wifi tether app?

As far as I know some roms are better at allowing tethering than others for some reason I can't say which ones are the best

Well I do have Wifi Tethering and I do use it. But its still the same. Started up fine...running and working fine...but afterwards it slows down and sometimes just stop completely. And PdaNET is pretty fast and consistent compare to Wifi Tethering
