PDF Question

Can we attach PDF files to emails ? In gmail I pressed menu/attach, but it only brought up the pics fom the sd card. Any suggestions ?
 
I have Documents to Go installed.

When I select the attach menu, it brings up Docs to Go and I can send a PDF from my documents.
