Help pdf reader and shelf???

so at first i was EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED when using adobe pdf reader as it and many others, were very very laggy when reading a pdf. ie, took 5 seconds to load a page

and by pdf, i mean magazine pdf like Maxim or Popular Photography or Total Film.
these files are between 80 - 200 megs max.

then i found SOLO PDF READER and that loads pages in a second which is fairly good.

are there any pdf readers that are faster?
what about a cool book shelf where i can see all the mag covers?

honestly, i thought the infinity was gonna be blazing fast in this respect

any ideas?

MyLibrary is the best I think. but really slow
