PDroid (privacy app)

I was searching for privacy apps, and found something called PDroid. A thread about it is here. It looks like you need to patch the rom you're using first, and then install the apk. Does PDroid work on the Prevail? I'm still very new to Android, and was hesitant to try it. The app seems very interesting, though.
