Help Peeling HTC logo is SHARP!

So, like many users, my HTC logo on the battery cover has begun to peel. The first time I noticed this was when the letter "t" came off and stuck into my finger. All the way to the hilt, if you will. The next to go was the "h", which promptly cut a hole through the pocket of my pants and lacerated my leg about 2". That's right... bad luck with this 2 x. What I would like to know is, has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you get it resolved with HTC? My phone is constantly overheating, and half the time wont take a charge, otherwise it wouldnt be a huge deal i guess... maybe the overheating caused the adhesive to fail? Let me know your thoughts...
