I have just got a HTC Wildfire and, whilst I really like using the Peep Widget to access Twitter, I've noticed it cuts off the end of 'official' retweets i.e. those where a person has clicked 're-tweet' rather than simply copy-and-pasted with a 'RT' in front.
It would seem that peep does not recognise official retweets so will add the following text to the beginning of such tweets - "RT @username:". The problem with this is that, where the original tweet was close to the maximum length, the consequence of Peep inserting this at the beginning means that an equivalent number of characters at the end of the message are removed.
Is there anyway to address this issue or will I have to admit defeat and start using a different Twitter app?
