Help Pen Over detected?

I no longer can use my pen. It seems that it gets detected when it is 5-10mm away of the screen. So I get multiple strokes on the screen before I ever touch it.

Is this happening to somebody else?

Any idea on how to solve it?

I too see the same thing.. it happens very randomly for me though (still trying to figure out some pattern). Do you see this all the time?

I don't claim to understand how these capacitve pens work exactly but since the screen is detecting minute electrical charges I would guess that there is an excess of charge at play. This will sound wierd, but try putting the phone down and use the stylus while wearing gloves (or if you have one of the antistatic bags electronic components get delivered in that would be the best). If the pen behaves normally then, to be blunt, you are the problem since you seem to be charged statically, and need to ground yourself or change to all cotton clothing. Otherwise you have a defective pen and should get it changed.

FYI it's not a capacitive pen, it's a Wacom digitizer. Not sure the difference as far as this situation goes but I'd return the phone for a new one if it were me. Good luck guys!
