People can't hear me unless I pretty much scream

I talk on my phone and ever since I received this replacement phone people say it's very hard to hear me. They say it's like I am in a tunnel. I personally don't want to scream on the phone just for them to hear me. Anyone else having this problem? I rarely use my phone to talk on (I'm more of a texter)...but it's very annoying and getting very irritated.

Check to make sure voice privacy isn't enabled. Its under settings

keeps anyone from hearing what you are saying.
Great idea in theory but in practice if no one can hear you, why are you even talking?

Interesting. I have had voice privacy turned on (must be the default). No one ever complained about hearing me and I'm a soft talker.

Some have issues if its on others don't I think its some sort of privacy feature where its supposed to muffle how you really sound..someone else had a thread similar to this and that was the fix, only reason I brought it up lol

I had this problem too and it fixed mine (turning off voice privacy)

To explain it a little easier, its so that people around the person your talking to cant distinguish whats being said... but it actually makes it so no one can hear you lol

I just turned off voice privacy, will see if that helps

I had this problem with one of my droids, it was a hardware issue. Took it to the Verizon store and swapped it for another and all is good now.
