Help People don't recieve my sent e-mail

Hi all, this is my first post. I have had the Optimus V for several months without any significant problems. However, lately I am having problems with people not receiving e-mail that I send to them. My e-mails show up in the outbox and then the sent folder. No errors are triggered when sending and everything seems fine on my end. I downloaded K-9 e-mail and the same exact thing is happening. Does anybody have any ideas?

Have you tried using a web browser? Either on a computer or the Optimus V?

Yes, I have sent e-mail successfully from the internet on my home pc and through windows mail. Everything else functions pefectly on the phone - texts, receiving mail, web, apps, etc. I can't think of anything that I have done that may have triggered the problem.

If you go to your email's web interface does the email show as sent there?

Have you tried to log out and then log in again?

Mail sent on my phone doesn't show up in Windows Mail or the website, but that's how it usually is. Whenever I send something via Windows Mail it only shows as sent in Windows Mail (and not online) and vise-versa. My ISP is Armstrong Zoom Internet, a local cable company.

I have two e-mali accounts on my phone (personal and work) and I just had the idea to try sending one from my work account - and it worked. So maybe it's a problem with my ISP?

Have you tried sending yourself test emails? Is it possible that your emails are going to their spam/junk folders?

After much troubleshooting I tried requiring a sign in on the outgoing mail server and it did the trick. It was strange because I never had that selected and mail has always sent fine until then. Thanks to all that offered their suggestions!
