People vs. Phone contacts

The 'People' widget has all my phone contacts that I synced with Gmail. The 'Phone' contacts are everyone I have as a friend on Facebook. I do not want all my FB friends showing up in the 'Phone' contacts and there does not appear to be a way to delete them. In other words, there are "friends" I have on FB that I have no desire to call and I just don't want them in my phone.

Is there any way to make the 'Phone' contacts match the 'People' widget?

Phone > Menu > People > Menu > View

Check (or uncheck) all that apply.

Aha, thanks for the info but for some reason that isn't working. In the 'View' menu I chose 'Google', which has exactly the contacts that I want on my phone, but the 'Phone' contacts are still the same. My damn Congressman is listed in there and, while I do like the guy, I don't really have a need for him in my phone.

The only answer that works (somewhat: the pictures don't match some of the contacts) is to sync the gmail contacts and use syncmypix app to add in the pictures.
