People With Big Hands

For those of us with big hands and/or fat fingers I just thought I'd pass along an application my friend told me about that might make life less frustrating when composing messages on the keyboard. Its called Big Buttons Keyboard https://play.google.com/store/apps/...lt#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5iaWdidXR0b25zIl0 .

One tip I noticed is that if you hold your phone upright rather then horizontaly the keys are bigger.

Another tip I thought I would pass is that if you long press the message screen where it says "type to compose" it will pop up the options of editing text and input methods. Input methods allows you to toggle between different keyboards like Android keyboard, XT9 keyboard, or any other keyboard you download like Big Buttons keyboard.

Swift key x has an adjustable keyboard size for portrait and landscape

Searched for the product in Google Play yet?

Personally I use the Swype keyboard... Its predictions are the best available and even though its bottom row has become more squeezed together recently, it's nice not worrying about where your fingers fit on a particular key.

I have tried swype but its not for me. Either I'm an old skool texter or the dragging system doesn't work for me. Its hard to see the keys on swype when you have big hands imo. I'm always interested to hear peoples feedback and learn something new but even swiftkeyx, ice cream sandwich keyboard, etc. don't have the button size for guys my size. I chose the ZTE Warp cuz I'm 6'8" and the Prevail was just to small to use anymore. I probably should be using a tablet but tablets are just too big to put in my pocket. I wish the Samsung Galaxy Note could be used like a Samsung Galaxy Prevail. Is it possible?

I have a question for you if you don't mind. when you say about ICS full, can you get that for the warp now? I am not understanding what you have, just a new keyboard, that looks like the one in ICS or the whole setup for the warp that has everything looking new or what? can you please just explain a tiny bit more if you don't mind doing so? thxs so very much. I use Big Buttons Keyboard also. I got the paid version for the large cursor control keys. The keyboard uses a special (patented?) layout that has buttons TWICE AS LARGE (in portrait mode) as the keyboards listed above. The buttons are even larger than landscape mode buttons - great for one-handed typing. Numbers are easier to enter too. Just wish Swype would use this layout.

Swype has a learning curve, yes. But it's so worthwhile.
