People with no issues with 2.2 check in

No issues. never installed rooted froyo, waited patiently for official lease. now looking for root :D

I went froim stock 2.1 to stock 2.2, no issues with either one. No battery force close either. There are several usless changes that I don't like, keyboard and Swype for instance, that was just dumb as was the silent/vibrate thing.

It is working so well that I'm afraid to root this phone. The only reason I want root is to be able to get screen shots.

I've had no issues. The only issue

I am currently having is with Slacker Radio freezing but its definately an app issue... not a 2.2 one.

So far after uninstalling appkiller which seemed to cause alot of crashes its working fairly smoothly now... just couple gliches but camera is way better, speaker a little louder and pretty happy. Got a quadrent score of 1402 and neocore 42.7 fps with stock droid x with 2.2 OTA and no rooting or other mods at all. Was hoping it might go past 2000 but seems zippy enough and battery ok.

No issues with mine. I have my original Droid X, bought on release day and went from stock 2.1 to the OTA 2.2. It has been flawless. Still surprised the 2.2 update didn't bring a little more speed, but that is just going by "feel".

So, now we wait for some Gingerbread!

Few times where things lag from hear to there...but i like 2.2 alottt better then Eclaire and it fixed the problem i had where my charger wasnt recognized when it was plugged in which im happy about. I still would like to see how Verizons supposed fix for other ppls issues will help or hurt me.

No real issues. I still don't get actual N wireless connection, but again 54mbs is actually fast enough. but still its an adversised feature. Granted I get and keep a solid 54 even with low signal per WIFI analyzer.

With the recently updated maps, car mode works better and no issues there either. So far, so great.

No issues, problems or concerns...haven't even seen that battery manager thing happen. We need to send a bunch of cheese over to the other forums to go with their whining...:D

Like a few others, I had the 2.1 leak... kind of a mess and with Ericnail on the case, I went back to 2.1. 2.2 OTA and running LPP and it's great. I was really thinking that I HAD to do a factory reset. BUT... WHY, I've got no issues what so ever. I didn't even have the FC on the Battery Manager. Low and behold, it FC'd me this morning on the Batt Man.

Oh well, other than that and yes the listing of TEXT messages in weird order. Smooth as silk.

Now then, my boss just got his new X in the mail yesterday and I set it up for him... Touchdown, personal email, Gmail etc. etc. I must say that the LPP is by far a better launcher than stock. My X runs way smoother and seemingly has way more things that can be made to my liking. LOVE it. I'm not doing marketing for LPP, but damn.... It works sweet!

Other than not being able to pull the update until yesterday and then having to do a battery pull as it got stuck on the M logo everything is great. Runs much faster and the battery life is killer now.

You guys are hilarious. It's IMPOSSIBLE to have zero issues. No matter how awesome your DX is, we all have at least minor issues. There is no such thing as a bug-free device.

That said, after doing a factory reset after receiving the OTA, I finally decided to root and reinstall Launcher Pro Plus. I am LOVING my DX and am experiencing VERY FEW issues. Once the new version of LPP comes out, I imagine it will run even better but for now, this phone is tops and i have very little to complain about.

I think the one thing that annoys me the most is that LPP auto-rotate to landscape and back is laggy so I've just disabled it for now. The normal auto-rotate also seems to rotate upside down now with Froyo, a minor annoyance. I also can't get the keyboard to switch to landscape in Dolphin Browser.

Wait, I almost forgot - there is ONE bug that is a major annoyance for me and that is the Facebook contact sync. I have tried and tried so many different things to get Facebook to sync with my contacts and display photos for each of my contacts with a phone number but no matter what I do, the contacts list always gets populated with everyone on facebook, or perhaps those folks on facebook who have their number posted but are not a contact in my phone.

I know that SyncMyPix is a workaround but that program isn't the best and it skips a lot of my contacts or gets some of them wrong if the full name isn't in there.

In any case, I LOVE my rooted DX, battery life, increased speed, etc.
