Perfectly set up phone?

funkylogik

share the love peeps ;)
Has anyone achieved it? Is that what androgeeks want? Would we be bored if we got there?
I must say mine is pretty close cosmeticly and performance wise but not PERFECT and i think my hobby would be screwed if it ever was lol.
Its great flashing new roms and nightlys etc but it is constantly making the phone better so although i strive for it, i kinda dread the day my android device is perfect.
Any thoughts or is it just me?

I have gone through periods of flashing my device every few hours, it's horrible, I can never find a ROM that I can completely appreciate.

I don't know if anyone flashes them as much as me, I imagine there are, but all I know is I have flashed probably 30 different ROMs onto my GNex, which in turn kind of made my battery deteriorate faster than usual, but hell I love a new feel to my device, and a new ROM does that for me.

Now right now I have been on Paranoid Android 3.99 for awhile now with lean kernel. It is pretty good with decent battery. I just love the Tablet mode, it's made me pretty much love my device right now.

FYI awhile for me is like maybe a week lol :o

Lol i have g+ buddys that flash a few times a day. Think im pretty moderate.
For the last couple weeks ive been goin between Slim and Carbon back n forward but now that ive discovered Xposed Framework.... it fixes Carbon's downfalls and the rom is RAPID! so fast and slick and with Xposed's help its perfect. Best thing about Xposed is that TiBu will save all the settings so you dont have to customise stuff after each clean flash.
Stuff like this and apps like Goo.im make it all easier for us to have the perfect android so is anyone gona have itchy thumbs when we get it?

I love Slim it's always been pretty good to me. Occasionally though I would have random periods of battery loss.

I tried Carbon for a few hours then passed it up, didn't seem much different than some others. Maybe I will revisit it.

Tomorrow I'll have the perfect setup.

Pure AOSP, running factory default rooted. :D

My wallpaper, widgets, and apps don't ever really change, Its just a matter of getting them arranged again

I'm happy with my setup atm, I'm always trying different launchers though just to see whats new but I always come back to Nova Launcher and the usual apps.

The new Themer app is interesting, but none of the themes really suit me. There is potential there though.

The current phone I got seems to be setup for what I like. Only thing I've done recently is to try a few different launchers out as an alternative to the default Touchwiz, and trying different browsers as well. Settled on the MiHome launcher and Chrome browser for the moment.

Finally settled on a ROM and Kernel combo(Dirty Unicorns / Hells Core B40) after many many many different combos.
And after purchasing numerous icon packs, themes, uccw widgets, I finally came up with a set up that I didn't change for over a week which is a new record for me.
Now, after all this, I went out and ordered the Nexus 5, I get it tomorrow :-) and will have to start all over again lol.
Nexus 4 is still in the family tho. Gave it to the wife.

A perfectly setup phone would be incredibly boring. Being able to possess one would imply that your life has become stagnant, unless the phone was smart enough to detect real life changes and adjust accordingly. I think that's how Skynet started. ;)

My phone would be running perfect (great battery, fast as hell) if it wasnt for these stupid UI crashes :banghead:
Gona keep flashin the nightlys though. Maybe i should clean flash the next one..... im so lazy though :(

Sadly, I set up all my phones the same. Need some spark to do something different. But it gets me to my most used apps quickly. Hoping to get my invite to Cover soon so I probably won't even need a home screen anymore!

Is cover the same kinda thing as Buzz launcher and the Mycolorscreen one where you download other peoples home setups?
