Root perm root issues, su denied - cmd

I have an Evo Shift 4g.

Those are the first steps I am following to root my phone. I got everything done but til the very end.
su permission are denied when I enter the stuff in cmd.
I copy and paste it so it's exactly right.
And my phone is temprooted, and to check I have titanium backup, which gave me su permissions on my phone. But when I enter it in through cmd is denies su.

what could it possibly be? can't be that I'm not temprooted cause I am. So I'm lost yet again.

So I found that answer. But how do I do that?
When I plug in my phone nothing pops up.
Also I'm not rooted, I'm trying to get rooted. But I am temprooted.

anyway I can go into the superuser app on my phone and allow access?
