Root Perm Root?

it will void warrenty but you can always flash back to stock before you return... if you would ever want to... and i havent had any problems so far with my root, i also installed cyanogens bacon bits package last night and very steadily waiting for CM 6.1!
 
From what I have read over on xda we should be able to get it no problem... I do all my stuff manually so I let the devs check it out and if something needs to be changed they change it so there is no issues
 
Don't root your phone if you are worried about warranties. Plain and simple. There are ways to reverse the root, but in my experience, when the shit hits the fan and you need to make a warranty claim, you can't usually get into the phone to restore it to factory settings. That's just been my experience on it, though.

It doesn't void the warranty on things like the construction of the phone (hinges, battery case latch, screen, etc) but it would pretty much void warranty on the battery and internals. Rooting and overclocking at 2x the speed of the phone's intended speed can cause some pretty serious damage to the battery and other parts. That's really the only danger. Well, that and not rooting it properly or bricking the phone while hacking around inside. However, if you are concerned about your warranty, then you aren't likely a developer or hacker and your chances of toasting your phone are slim.
 
just do a temproot. they work just as good with a permroot. and if you do shut off your phone, just go to VISIONary and re-root it.
 
Just permanent root it and be sure to have recovery flashed so unless the hardware is busted you can always reverse. If your hardware is busted then it won't matter if it's rooted.
