Hey guys, I might have a challenge for you here, my searches for an answer has been otherwise fruitless; lots of people asking, but no answers that apply to me.
My HTC Desire was just recharged after being completely drained for several days, after I lost it and then found it again. I noticed later than the battery was fully charged, but the usual green LED light that appears when the phone is fully charged was not on, instead the 'charging' sign, the orange LED, was on.
I assumed this was a bug, but when I took the phone off charge, the LED changed from solid orange to solid red. I have never seen my phone display a red light before, so this worried me.
I examined every function i could think of on the phone, from simply touching the screen to testing the camera, but everything seems to work absolutely fine.
So, I turned it off and on again, but yet still the problem persists.
Does anyone know the reason why the LED would, A) display a red light in the first place, and B) stay on continuously?
I know that a red light can't be good...
Remember, the phone is NOT on charge.
Thanks in advance folks
