Help Personal Hot Spot feature

I love this feature...it's so convenient when traveling to be able to create my own hot spot. I understand from this forum that the only way it can be disabled is through a software upgrade to this phone. Can the software be upgraded automatically? And if so, how do I disable auto upgrades?

SPRINT disabled it on the OPTIMUS S thru an OTA upgrade.

You can use quick settings. It has the option to create a hotspot. You have to go through settings to get to it then drag it to the top to put it on the main list.
