Personal questions

That's a really nice story :)

I guess if you like the person you'll keep writing even outside of school..

Arizona?????

:phaha is it not? I don't know. To be honest I just used to like writing letters, my grandma and grandad used to travel alot so they were always bringing addresses of kids on their travels for me to write to, it was only the Wisconsin one that stuck.

A teacher came from there to our school (dunno how that came about) when I was 10 and she took a list of names who wanted penpals and took them back to the school she was from. Quite a few wrote but stopped, but we carried on writing and its 32 years now. She asked me to be her bridesmaid at her wedding but I am scared of flying and wouldnt make the trip then. It's really weird cos I've felt close to her and when bad things have happened I've felt really hurt and really frustrated I can't be there for her like I would a friend closer.
When we took our holiday in Florida a couple of years ago, she flew down and we spent 3 days together, it was so weird, but we got on really well.
I have to admit that now with email, the letters are few and far between and its mainly catch up via email, but we still keep in touch and have a good old moan if we need to.
Too bad about your height fear, but this is a great story and your friendship is really special to be able to maintain that much dedication for 32 years!!!

I agree AZ is too hot, but I LOVE dry heat. Not a fan of humidity.

I agree AZ would be a bad vacation spot.

I basically die in 32 degree heat
Bout 25 if its really humid

More of a dry cold weather guy

I think ill avoid Arizona then.lol

Ok so I'm a bit wrong re Arizona....

But I love hot weather, it's not good for my job cos I work with children so it's a nightmare keeping them cool/covered and hydrated, but personally I love the hot weather. I suppose am not a fan of it being humid, when we were in Florida this time it was really humid and it did get a bit too much. I'd like to think if I got the opportunity to live there I'd get used to it, but obviously compared to England, its a big difference walking out of the door in the morning and the heat nearly flooring you - it's generally a downpour that floors you here:(

I love NY for the same reasons. We get to actually experience the 4 seasons. It's boring as hell when it's just pure heat or rain everyday. I want some damn snow and heavy winds and to see the leaves change colors, etc.. best place to live in the world.

I'll jump into this one.....

My parent's egg & sperm although they sometimes deny I'm theirs. :D

Spouse - gone! - finally got the lovely legal system to let me divorce without the moron being around. Kids - 1, a daughter

What brought you to the forums?
The first time - I was anxiously awaiting my DInc and wanted to learn everything I possibly could. Then I took a break and this time I'm back because I missed having people to talk to that understand my love and need for technology

Tell us something personal about you.
I moved back in with my parents cause it's too damn expensive to live in my area on your own - oh, and my parents are lifesavers when it comes to child care.
I have a shoe/boot problem. Problem is I ran out of room to keep them all.
And I love Harley Davidson. If there's a place for me to sit and a helmet I will happily ride with just about anyone. (not the safest thing I've ever done but thankfully I'm still here)
