Help personalized ringtone and picture HTC sensation

Hi there,
I am just wondering if there is a way to set a personalized ringtone to when somebody either texts me or calls me. Like it would play a song for when my friend Kyle calls or text me and a different one for when my friend Jeff calls or texts me.
I am also wondering if there is a way I can put a picture in where it shows the android pic for when somebody is calling me.
Let me know if you need any more details please.

Yes. I could be wrong, but I think the phone has to be rooted so that you can add to the system files.

To assign a photo to contact, open a photo in gallery, press more, then press set as, then press contact icon and select the relevant contact.
For ringtone,go into people (from all apps) select the relevant contact, then select ringtone and assign whichever ringtone you want. This can be done from an unrooted phone.
