Help PG58DIAG errors in bootloader

Does anyone know why after having rooted in get annoying errors going into the bootloader and then into recovery, the errors in get are numerous loading PG58DIAG.xxx where is zip, nbh etc., as far as I can tell it doesn't affect anything, I'm just curious what it's trying to do, I'm aware that PG58DIAG is a file that's used as part of the rooting process and is removed from the SD card afterwards but just wanted to be sure this is normal behaviour.

Yes, it is actually the same for me, but it only happened to me because I updated my firmware. Anyway, it should not be a problem (at least for me). To be extra sure, I think you should head to xda-developer forum for more info.

Are these errors or just ...PB58... messages that cycle when you enter the bootloader? Something like 'checking for PB58.IMG....'?

If they just cycle through and disappear then it is absolutely normal. It is just the bootloader looking for a file type it recognises to automatically begin a flashing procedure.

Yes it just says checking, it doesn't say there's any errors. What happens if it does find the files, I presume it would install/flash them. Also (sorry, so many questions) but is this the HBOOT bootloader that is hardwired to look for these files.
Finally what exactly do these PG58DIAG contain or do when they are found, eg. firmware, kernel or the bootloader itself?

If it finds an appropriate file it'll ask you if you want to flash it. The file it finds depends on what exactly it is.

Yes the bootloader is set to look for these automatically and is normal

Erm, tbh i don't know the answer to that. I believe that flashing a new recovery and firmware can be done with a PB58. Kernels are typically flashed from Recovery as you would with a ROM
