Help Phantom email showing on my phone

I have three email accounts set up on my phone, one gmail and two hotmail accounts.

Today, for some reason, my phone shows one of the hotmail accounts with a new email that was actually received by the other hotmail account.

I am unable to open this message and when I try to delete it, the email app force closes.

Any ideas?

anyone? this morning the other hotmail account is showing 25 phantom emails as well
