Help Phantom events in Google Calendar sync

My HTC Droid Incredible is synced with my Google Calendars, but there are some events that show up on my phone that are not on my online Google Calendar.

I've tried un-syncing my phone, and when I do, the events go away. But when I reconnect with my calendars, the phantom events show up again.

Any ideas on how to get rid of these unwanted items on my calendar?

I went to Google Calendar help and found the answer: on your phone, go into Settings -- Applications, and in the Calendar app(s), press Clear Data.
