Root Phiremod 6.3 theme removal

Reinstalling your rom from a recovery backup is the best way. :D

Didn't do that? Then try updating the theme to a different theme (but you might end up with parts of both).

Then reinstall your rom. Updating your rom by might fix it. (Back it up in recovery first.)

EDIT: Just scanned the entire post and found out the theme's installed as an apk (never heard of that) and that you select which theme you want. Did you try selecting a different theme? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13065949&postcount=23

(I also remember themes are buggy, but don't recall why.) :D

Pardon my ignorance, but where can I find themes that will suit the Phiremod? I downloaded for CM7 from the market but it couldn't be installed.

Ideally, I prefer no themes at all, just want the stock icons to be back. And I like Zeam launcher! I'm desperate enough to consider tinkering with the framework-res.apk, even though I have no idea how to do it! :p

Hey thanks! I didn't realise your link to honeybread is one of the CM7 tablet themes. Hope to find more eventually! It got rid of all the custom icons except one I think. And now I have a cool blue glow on the menus. ;)

Hey yes I did see the first and last. I downloaded 4 themes but none of them work fully with the 6.3 phiremod. They mess up the notification bar and I don't see new icons at all. Not sure what I did wrong, and yes, I used the theme chooser to apply them after installing. :(

I was disappointed as well. Themes on my phone are much nicer. I DID get notification icons and updated status bar and progress indicators. I had to enable theme switcher tho, it was frozen. Not sure if the rom came that way or if it was something I did.
