Nightly 101 is yesterday's test build. It's got good ratings (as did #93 & #95), is based on the new kernel and has decent sleep battery life. Don't flash if you don't know how to backup and restore from recovery.

Apparently you also need to flash Google Apps right after the rom, before rebooting.

My Nook crashes while overclocking on Phiremod. Maybe I'd have better luck with this build, but I don't see any other advantages, really. CM7 seems to be all I need.

Is there a feature comparison somwhere?

I loaded this last night. I notice that I can now only overclock to 925 MHz, whereas before, it would go up to 1300. What's up with that?

Also, I now have the issue everyone keeps talking about where my audio output isn't loud enough. I was fine forever, but now, cranked all the way up is just loud enough when listening through the line-in in my car.

I just used the Nook Color Tweaks to up the volume on the external speaker - it works nicely.

The test build is based on a newer kernel than the last stable build of Phiremod. Just a guess, but you'll likely need Dalingrin's latest kernels to overclock.

And if that's the case, you can use Dalingrin's Nook Tweaks from marketplace to adjust the low volume.

Grabbed the Nook Tweaks app. I'll see how my volume is on the way home today. Thanks. Also, I guess I need to update my kernel. Where is the standard place to get those?

Download the kernel and flash it like you would a ROM.
This is a good time to make sure you've got a good backup.

I'd seen the ratings in RM but there are such low numbers of 'votes' that I assumed there was a another place to see them that might be more meaningful. Single digit counts don't really make a believer out of me.
